Chicken of the VNC is a VNC client for Mac OS X. A VNC client allows one to display and interact with a remote computer screen. In other words, you can use Chicken of the VNC to interact with a remote computer as though it's right next to you. If you’d like to make a.VNC configuration file in order to connect to your Mac server using a Windows VNC client (RealVNC used here), just take the following code and save it as a.VNC configuration file, being careful to change the host from (null) to the remote Apple Remote Desktop server’s IP address (for example: 10.10.10.10. Dec 07, 2007 Hold down Command at the Mac Pro and all logged in users will have Command held for them too! I know no way to automate bootup. You need to reboot and login each user one-by-one using fast user switching. Sound all gets played at the Mac Pro, not the clients, and there's only one set of sound hardware.

Free Vnc Viewer For Mac
Hmmmmm.. while at first this may sound like a good idea think of these caveats:
1. Unless you set up a good RAID system in the Mac Pro, those 4 users will be accessing one hard disk and that will create a huge bottleneck.
2. Even if you buy 4 low-cost computers, you still have 5 computers to maintain. In fact you are gaining one extra computer to maintain now.
3. You Mac Pro will need huge amounts of RAM to run concurrent processes of Photoshop or whatever programs 4 people might be running.
4. You'll need to have at least a gigabit speed network which costs a lot of money.
I could go on here..
Now think about having 4 24' iMacs:
1. Every user will have a nice 24' screen with nice, quick, response times (not laggy VNC response times).
2. The iMac's are good, powerful, multi-core computers that will outperform on shared Mac Pro easily.
Need more reasons to go with 4 separate iMacs? Let me know! 😀
